CURRUCULUM
Education at age of childhood is very essential for the children to grow basic skills. It is important that foundations are laid on which future learning can take place. If children are well motivated, interested, enthusiastic and cheerful then they learn effectively. AES intend to develop such skills in a creative, imaginative, and original way with emphasised on foundational literacy and numeracy (generally on reading, writing, speaking, counting, arithmetic, and mathematical thinking ), throughout the preparatory and school curriculum, with a robust system of continuous assessment to track and thereby individualize and ensure each student’s learning outcome. Regular events over the year on activities involving these subjects will be dedicated to encourage and enthusiasm students. The children need to learn in a conductive atmosphere where they are not afraid to make mistakes and this in turns becomes an important part of the learning process. Each child will be encouraged to reach their highest potential and motivated to want to continue learning.
KG Curriculum
The KG curriculum is based on age specific learning goals and is adopted keeping in view the educational trends and the needs of the children. A thematic approach is adopted to encourage learning across the curriculum, placing an emphasis on developing key skills. It is planned across different areas of learning, facilitating the children to develop at their own space through differentiated and collaborative learning. It is child oriented, focusing on play and the individual personality. We strongly believe that the children need to be happy if they are to learn. Our curriculum provides opportunity for playing & exploring, active learning and thinking creatively. Enriched programmes to motivate interest of the children are planned and supported. The children are exposed to a variety of exciting and positive experiences and hands-on activities which enables them to explore and cheer up their interest. They are encouraged to think, find things and talk about them.

The Primary Curriculum at AES is driven by the natural curiosity amongst children as per their appropriate age group. We integrate the curriculum with NCERT (National Council of Education, Research and Training) along with International Benchmark and National Agenda Priorities. They share their experiences and ideas, enhance their sense of discipline and varied existence of community through interactions with different kinds of people and objects in their neighborhood and environment. The curriculum recognizes the importance of developing the full potential of the child. It seeks to develop children spiritually and morally and to encourage in each child an ethical sense that enables him/ her to acquire values on which they should base choices and form attitudes; it endeavors to equip children with the knowledge and skills that will serve them not only in their lives as children but later as adults; it is concerned to develop their capacity for creative expression and response; and it promotes their emotional and physical development.
